Shower BEFORE Photo
BEFORE: A shower pan leaking into the adjacent room and a cramped master bathroom.
AFTER: We replaced the 4"x4" with  larger floor to ceiling tile transitioning to a 45-degree setting over the listello tile which is punctuated with metallic insets. The shower curb transitions easily into the new floor tile.

In place of the small master closet we extended plumbing and power to allow for a deep soaker jet tub. Natural light now pours into the space with the installation of a new insulated vinyl window. To open up the space -- and allow for a new double vanity cabinet -- we removed an interior partition wall, rotated the toilet 90-degrees, and replaced the original swing door with a 36" wide pocket door.

(NOTE: we customarily offer to upgrade a bathroom's specifications to meet current accessibility and safety standards -- better to work it into a remodeling project now than pay again later). To make up for the missing closet, we borrowed a few feet from the adjoining family room to provide for a generous walk-in master closet accessible also by a pocket door.
